This month's featured reader will be Alicja was born and educated in Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1972. Formerly a scientist and translator, she now devotes her time to writing. She is the author of the book, Looking at the World Twice: Essays and Poems on Identity, Belonging and Otherness, a work which explores her experience reconciling two cultures.

Record the story of your life using the books you love. This two session workshop explores how our lives have been shaped by the books we’ve read. In the process of this exploration, we will each create an autobiographical bibliography. Workshop facilitator Penelope Starr is a performance and visual artist, as well as the founder and producer of Odyssey Storytelling.
